Progress has been a bit slow because of work, I’ve only really been able to work on OLB over the weekend these days ㅠㅠ

But as of now, OLB ep 23 pages 1-49 have been completed! Getting there slowly but surely!

Now back to why you are really here! This will be the last update of my Japan trip. The very last yokai related thing I did in japan was visit kashima shrine! This shrine is one of the oldest shrines in japan and is dedicated to the shinto god Takemikazuchi. Takemikazuchi is the god of martial arts, thunder, and victory. And this particular god is also known for stopping a certain giant catfish. To stop the catfish, the god used a giant stone pillar to pin it down beneath the island of japan. In pics 2&3, that little stone in the ground is said to be the stone holding the giant catfish in place. So right under my feet was the head of Namazu!! Isn’t that so cool!?
