who likes character stats displayed in radar charts!!!

"magic" is kind of a balance between magic potential and actual magic skills, so even though Elis would probably be a 10/10 in terms of magic potential, he doesn't know how to use his magic so it bumps his score way down.
I did think it's kind of weird to have a "wasted stat" on the non-magic characters so you can think of the alternative like spellbook proficiency. where madge would be 2 and otto would be 9
